Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga!

My local yoga studio was offering SUP yoga classes so I decided to try.  It was so much fun. And holy shit, it was such a workout. I was not so aware of how much of a workout it was until I tried to get out of bed the next morning and all the muscles around my spine screamed at me. And then my thighs decided to voice their opinion and started screaming as well and none of it stopped until Sunday.
I was able to do some poses on the SUP, but warrior eludes me.  I’ll get it the next time, I’m sure!

Sixty degrees outside?  Not too sure about this temperature for being in the water….

We had the place nearly to ourselves!  Getting familiar with our boards, prior to standing up.

Start by kneeling, then stand up!

Yes, I like the view from sitting a lot! Lying down is nice too.

By the end of the class I really liked the lying down part. Whew! What a workout!
