Walking after 6″ of snow drops is very hard. It was more like trail blazing than walking. But I’m glad I went out.

Second winter hit and we are in the colder than -10F during lunch so I opted for an afterwork exercise bike session today.
I decided to take a walk today since the past couple of days have been between -10F and -15F during the lunch hour so I have not been able to get outside to walk. Normally weekends are saved for bigger projects or adventures, but I had a break from working on R2 while Michael took a call so I took the opportunity and got outside!
My face really felt the cold today for some reason, but I got the walk done and was happy to back home in the warm house.
We got quite a bit of big fluffy snow lastnight so my walk today had some areas of deeper snow I had to get through making it a bit more of a workout than usual. It also made me wish for warmer temps with easier prep to get outside and faster walking times. For now I’ll enjoy the slower rate since I know once it warms up everything seems to move so much faster and all the time.
